Rider, when questioned, stated that his instruction was to lead, which he was able to achieve from a wide barrier. He added that when asked for an effort in the straight, the gelding only found the line fairly. His explanation was noted. Impounded for routine veterinary and analytical examination. The Veterinary Surgeon reported no apparent abnormality.

Mr D Beasley, Trainer D Meagher's B Trainer, when questioned regarding the significant decrease in the body weight of LIM'S TORPEDO, stated that whilst the gelding had been freshened since its last start, they had recently increased its workload and improved its residual fitness. He added that LIM'S TORPEDO was, in his opinion, fit to start. A Pre-Race veterinary examination passed LIM'S TORPEDO fit to race.
Trainer J Tan, when questioned regarding the significant increase in the body weight of ANPANMAN, stated that the gelding had not raced since June 2019 and had built up significantly during this time. He added that ANPANMAN was, in his opinion, fit to start. A Pre-Race veterinary examination passed ANPANMAN fit to race.
Lost ground after jumping awkwardly inwards. Laid inwards under pressure in the straight.

Raced very greenly in the straight and laid inwards for some distance passing the 300m.
Bumped on jumping.
Near the 200m, checked when crowded between CALL ME INVINCIBLE, which shifted outwards whilst racing greenly and ANPANMAN, which laid inwards despite the efforts of its rider.
Shifted outwards abruptly shortly after the start.
Rider when questioned, stated that his mount was not suited by the fast tempo. He further added that his mount had the tendency to lay inwards in the homestraight. His explanation was noted. A subsequent veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormality.

Mr Mogana Selvan A/L S Ramiah, Trainer S Gray's B Trainer, when questioned regarding the significant increase in the body weight of LUCKY ENOUGH, stated that the gelding had not raced for three months due to having bled at its last start, and had built up significantly in this time. He added that LUCKY ENOUGH was, in his opinion, fit to start. A Pre-Race veterinary examination passed LUCKY ENOUGH fit to race.
Jumped outwards and bumped CIZEN LUCKY.

Due to a delay in the start time of Race 4, this race was put back five minutes and rescheduled to start at 2055Hrs.
T Rehaizat, the rider of LIM'S TORPEDO, pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under MRA Rule 44(9)(a)(ii) in that passing the 100m, he permitted his mount to shift inwards, whilst riding it along, resulting in LUCKY ENOUGH (App WH Kok), having to be checked. When deciding on penalty, the Stewards took into account his record, guilty plea and the degree of interference and carelessness. Jockey Rehaizat was suspended from riding in races with effect from Monday, 21 October 2019 to Sunday, 03 November 2019 both dates inclusive (three Singapore Race Days) and was advised of his Right of Appeal.
