Raced wide throughout.
Jumped inwards and bumped MONT CHOISY.
Rider was warned for permitting his mount to shift inwards near the 1000m when not fully clear of runners to his inside.
Prior to the running of Race 5, Trainer KY Young notified the Stewards that the tactics were to endeavour to ride the gelding closer from the good barrier.
Jumped awkwardly outwards.
Rider had to adjust his right side stirrup iron a short distance after the start.

Got unbalanced after being bumped heavily near the 950m by ACCUMULATION which shifted inwards abruptly.
Slow to begin. Checked shortly after the start when MONT CHOISY shifted inwards despite the efforts of its rider.

A subsequent veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormality.
When questioned, Trainer J Peters explained that it was not the Pre-Race plan to lead although he had instructed the rider to be positive from the wide barrier. He added that with the addition of Blinkers on and no real speed in the race were contributing factors as to why the gelding ultimately ended up leading.
After suffering interference near the 1000m, ultimately raced three wide without cover. Crowded for room near the 1000m between METAGROSS and MONT CHOISY, which shifted inwards and away from WHITE TRUFFLE despite the efforts of its rider. A short distance later then had to be checked to avoid the heels of MONT CHOISY, which was taken inwards by WHITE TRUFFLE when not fully clear. In assessing the incident, the Stewards were of the view that there were contributing factors given the racing manners of MONT CHOISY, and therefore took no direct action other than to warn App WH Kok, the rider of WHITE TRUFFLE, for permitting his mount to shift inwards near the 1000m when not fully clear of runners to his inside.
Bumped by WHITE TRUFFLE on jumping and continued to shift inwards despite the efforts of its rider.
