STIPE报告 1 LIM'S SHOT T SEE - Near the 900m, had to be eased when racing in restricted room between OXBOW SUN and MY HORSE, which shifted inwards and away from COUSTEAU. Unable to improve its position from the 600m when disappointed for a clear run and continued to having difficulty in obtaining clear running in the straight and then was further held up inside the 100m and subsequently went to the Winning Post without being fully tested. Rider, when questioned regarding the gelding performing below market expectation, stated that his mount suffered interference shortly after the start and further added that it was then held up and unable to secure clear running for the majority of the homestraight. Trainer D Meagher, when questioned regarding the overall performance, explained that in the past, the gelding had failed when ridden on speed and expected the horse to settle midfield given the amount of speed that was in the race today and when ridden this way, he expected the horse to make ground in the straight. He further added that the gelding had worked well during the week and had had no setbacks and its recent form had been good without winning and was confident it would be competitive today. Impounded for routine veterinary and analytical examination. The Veterinary Surgeon reported that the horse returned with an irregular heart rhythm.
