HEAVENLY HAND Shifted outwards on jumping and bumped FIGHTING WARRIOR. Checked near the 1000m. IN BOCCA AL LUPO Shortly after the start, raced in restricted room between SOLITAIRE and SOUTHERN GLORY, which was inclined to lay inwards. Rider, when questioned, stated that the mare only finished the race off fairly, and could offer no tangible explanation for the mare performing below market expectation. His explanation was noted. Impounded for routine veterinary and analytical examination. The Veterinary Surgeon reported that the horse returned with cuts on near-fore and off-hind legs. MUSCULAR SPRINTER Which jumped away awkwardly, was bumped between FIGHTING WARRIOR and SUPER DAN. SOUTHERN GLORY After coming into contact with HEAVENLY HAND near the 1000m, the gelding then got unbalanced, shifted inwards and had to be restrained off the heels of IN BOCCA AL LUPO. KUBERA'S CHIEF Rider reported that the gelding weakened quite quickly over the concluding stages. A subsequent veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormality. N Juglall, the rider of JUMPIN JACK, pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under MRA Rule 44(9)(a)(ii) in that near the 1000m, he permitted his mount to shift inwards, when not fully clear of FIGHTING WARRIOR (App S Shafrizal), resulting in that horse being tightened into HEAVENLY HAND (App I Amirul), resulting in that horse losing its rightful running. When deciding on penalty, the Stewards took into account his poor record, guilty plea and the degree of interference and carelessness. Jockey Juglall was suspended from riding in races with effect from Monday, 08 October 2018 to Friday, 19 October 2018 both dates inclusive (three Singapore Race Days) and was advised of his Right of Appeal.
