RACE 2 (R1125) CLASS 4 - 1100M
BIG TSUNAMI, a course scratching as it was sore near fore foot, will be required to pass
a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.
ALL SERENE and GOLD DANCER which were up 18kgs and 16kgs respectively in
body weight and GREEN TRACER which was down 15kgs in body weight since their
last runs, were checked by the Club Veterinary Surgeon prior to the race and were all
passed fit to start.
SUPER GOOD (Lou Ho) was checked by the Veterinary Surgeon prior to the start and
was passed fit to race.
MOGANS PET (App AM Aizat) hesitated at the start, jumped awkwardly outwards and
was slow to begin.
At the start, NOTHING TO LOSE (TM Wan) jumped awkwardly outwards.
Shortly after the start, NOTHING TO LOSE and SUPER GOOD made contact when
racing tight on the inside of GREEN TRACER (M Ganeesh) which drifted inwards
At about the 1000M mark, GOLD DANCER (WK Yan) checked when tightened on the
inside of FAST RICH (S Sandana) which received pressure from NOTHING TO LOSE
which in turn received pressure from SUPER GOOD and GREEN TRACER which raced
tight on the inside of BEYOND WEALTH (App KC Wong) which was laying inwards.
Shortly afterwards, NOTHING TO LOSE, SUPER GOOD and GREEN TRACER all
made contact in a tightly-bunched field. After reviewing all the video replays, the
Stewards were of the opinion that no individual rider could be held responsible for the
interference and as such, no further action was taken.
ALL SERENE (C Goon) was pulling hard, was difficult to settle and steadied at the
1000M and again at the 800M. At approximately the 800M, MOGANS PET steadied
off the heels of ALL SERENE as a result.
GREEN TRACER was trapped four wide on the turn from the 800M.
GOLD DANCER raced wide into the home straight.
Jockey S Sandana, the rider of FAST RICH, reported that his mount was not striding out
freely. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormality. FAST
RICH was Impounded for further veterinary and analytical examination.
Jockey M Ganeesh, the rider of GREEN TRACER, reported that his mount was making
respiratory noises. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormality.
