STIPE报告
RACE 5 (R957) CLASS 4 : 1400M DR LIM AH SOO MEMORIAL TROPHY

BLUE HILLS, a course scratching as it had respiratory infection, will be required to pass
a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.

SPIN FIRE (R Woodworth) which was difficult to box and caused some delay, was
loaded riderless.

JET COSMO (J Shankar) was restless in the barrier and shortly after the start, lost ground
when tightened between SACRED SPIN (App AM Aizat) and OUR RIVER DANCER
(S Sandana) which was taken outwards by CLASSIC ARROW (App J Daniel).

SACRED SPIN was caught four wide on the turn at about the 700M.

Rounding the turn at about 600M, OUR RIVER DANCER steadied after racing up onto
the heels of TWIST OLIVER (App M Hanif).

Jockey J Shankar, the rider of JET COSMO, reported that his horse laid inwards and
brushed the inside running rail at about the 800M.

Shortly after the 300M, SACRED SPIN which was losing speed, was bumped between
FASTNET STAR (HK Cheng) and TWIST OLIVER which rolled outwards.

The Veterinary Surgeon reported that TWIST OLIVER returned with a severed near hind
tendon and was humanely euthanized.

Post-race veterinary examinations of SACRED SPIN and GOLDHILL PRINCESS (J
Low) revealed no obvious abnormality. Both SACRED SPIN and GOLDHILL
PRINCESS were Impounded for further veterinary and analytical examination

Trainer F Maynard, when questioned regarding the apparent improved performance of
PRINCE MAG (I Azhar), advised the Stewards that he had no real explanation for the
improvement except that this horse had been working well and he felt that with a stronger
rider, Jockey I Azhar, that suited the horse. His explanation was noted and his attention
was drawn to the rules regarding in-and-out running (MRA Rule 117(3)).
