STIPE报告
RACE 2 (R954) OPEN MAIDEN : 1400M TATTERSALLS TROPHY
[WEIGHT-FOR-AGE]

ROCK DBOAT, which was up 29kgs in body weight since its last run, was checked by
the Club Veterinary Surgeon prior to the race and was passed fit to start.

Shortly after the start, TOMORROWS GOLD (App M Hanif) steadied on the inside of
SOUTH EMPEROR (App S Shafrizal) which rolled inwards away from DGREAT
NIMBUS (J Low).

Rounding the turn at about the 700M, DGREAT NIMBUS which raced keenly, steadied
when racing tight on the inside of BUTCH CASSIDY (S Sandana).

Rounding the home turn, GERMAN SPEED (R Woodworth) checked when tightened
between LUCOSTAR (J Shankar) and SOUTH EMPEROR which rolled outwards.

TOMORROWS GOLD was carried wide on the home turn on the outside of SKY
WALKER (App KC Tham).

At about the 150M mark, AIR POWER (App KC Wong) rolled outwards sharply onto
DONT FORGET THIS (KT Cheng) which steadied.

A post-race veterinary examination of SKY WALKER revealed no obvious abnormality.

Trainer J Tan, when questioned about the reversal of form of SOUTH EMPEROR,
advised the Stewards that this horse had returned to form after a poor run on 24th July
2016 where in soft going, SOUTH EMPEROR was caught wide throughout the race
from an outside barrier. In addition, a weaker field on an improved track and a better
draw in todays running had suited the horse. His explanation was noted and his attention
was drawn to the rules regarding in-and-out running (MRA Rule 117(3)).
