STIPE报告
RACE 9 [TF0470]
CLASS 4 LC (C) 1200M

RAZZOSTELLA (App H Syafiq), ONE MORE ACHIEVER (K AIsisuhairi) and
QUEENS SEVEN (S Anandan) all began awkwardly.

Shortly after the start, CORDOBA (App CC Wong) shifted outwards and
bumped WONDERFUL (M Nunes).

WONDERFUL proved difficult to settle in the early stages.

RAZZOSTELLA and MAPLE STAR (App I Amirul) both raced wide throughout.

For the majority of the homestraight, GO LANCE (App N Nurshahril) laid
outwards under pressure and in so doing, shifted outwards and
inconvenienced RAZZOSTELLA approaching the Winning Post.

Between the 400m and the 300m, CORDOBA and MAPLE STAR raced tight
and brushed on a number of occasions.

App CK Ng, the rider of FREE HAPPY, was fined a sum of S$500 under MRA
Rule 152(5)(a) for dropping his whip near the 300m.

Near the 200m, App Wong, the rider of CORDOBA, dropped his off-side rein
which he regained shortly after passing the 100m.

Over the concluding stages, ZIPPY GENERAL (CW Brown) had to be eased
outwards to avoid the heels of EAGLE STORM (E Aslam), which rolled
outwards under pressure. Jockey Aslam was subsequently shown the film of
the incident and warned to exercise greater care when shifting ground in
future.

The Farrier reported that ONE MORE ACHIEVER returned having cast its off-
fore plate.

Subsequent veterinary examinations were requested on both RAZZOSTELLA
and ZIPPY GENERAL which revealed no apparent abnormality.

SINGAPORE DECEMBER MEETING 2015
FRIDAY, 04 DECEMBER 2015

RACE 3 [TF1442]

On Wednesday, 06 April 2016, App T See, the rider of DRAGON G, in the
presence of his Master, Trainer J OHara, when questioned regarding his
failure to arrive on course to fulfil his engagement at the Singapore Turf Club
Meeting on Friday, 04 December 2015, advised the Stewards that he was
caught in the traffic and he was unable to contact the Club as he did not
have his Mobile Phone with him. His explanation was accepted.

SINGAPORE FEBRUARY MEETING 2016
FRIDAY, 26 FEBRUARY 2016:

RACE 9 [TF0272]

On Thursday, 07 April 2016, the Stewards concluded an Inquiry into the run
of HOST THE NATION (O Chavez). Jockey O Chavez, when questioned,
stated that after beginning well, he allowed his mount to settle towards the
rear of the field as instructed. He added that HOST THE NATION travelled
fairly well in the early stages with a good tempo evident. When the tempo of
the race slowed near the 800m, he pushed his mount along to maintain good
contact with the on pace runners. He further added that when riding along
near the 600m, he felt his saddle commence to shift back, placing him at a
disadvantage. Jockey Chavez then stated that upon entering the
homestraight, his mount had a tendency to lay inwards, resulting in him
directing the gelding towards the inside in an effort to improve his position.
Whilst able to use the whip, he stated that he was unable to ride HOST THE
NATION out in his normal manner due to the saddle having shifted back
further in the straight, adding that he had to ease inwards near the 100m
when becoming awkwardly placed on the heels of YOU DA ONE (App CC
Wong), which rolled outwards. Subsequent to the race, the Veterinary
Surgeon confirmed that the saddle had shifted back. Whilst noting his
explanation, Jockey Chavez was advised to ride in a manner so as not to
arouse query in future.

SINGAPORE MARCH MEETING 2016
FRIDAY, 04 MARCH 2016:

RACE 3 [TF301]

On Thursday, 07 April 2016, the Stewards concluded an Inquiry into the run
of SUGARTIME JAZZ (O Chavez). Jockey O Chavez, when questioned, stated
that SUGARTIME JAZZ became unbalanced at the start after bumping heavily
with METAPHOR (App R Sazali). He added that he then rode the gelding
along in the early stages in an effort to settle in a forward to midfield
position. He further added that after passing the 800m, his mount
commenced to lose ground, despite his urgings, and, in his opinion resented
the kick back and he also had concerns with the action of the gelding.
Jockey Chavez then stated that when making ground in the homestraight, he
was hesitant to continue riding for a number of strides near the 150m as he
was concerned when SUGARTIME JAZZ became awkwardly placed inside the
heels of DEVILS PASS (CW Brown), which was tiring and shifting inwards,
particularly concerned that if his mount was carried inwards, he would cause
interference to I-SCREAM NOW, which was racing to his inside. For this
reason, he looked to his inside on a number of occasions to ensure the safety
of that gelding and its rider. When DEVILS PASS shifted outwards
approaching the 50m, he stated that he was then able to ride his mount
along vigorously in an attempt to improve, with SUGARTIME JAZZ running on
strongly over the concluding stages. A subsequent veterinary examination
was requested on SUGARTIME JAZZ which revealed that the horse returned
not striding out freely. Whilst noting his explanation, Jockey Chavez was
advised to ride in a manner so as not to arouse query in future.

pleaded guilty to a charge of negligence in terms of MRA Rule 152(5)(a) in
that he failed to claim and ride at his declared riding weight. When deciding
on penalty, the Stewards took into account his guilty plea, the nature of the
charge and his disciplinary records, which indicate that App T See has been
penalised for numerous weight related offences previously. App T See was
fined a sum of S$1,000 and advised of his Right of Appeal.

reasons for NORTHERN BOSS (O Chavez) having to check when racing to the
inside of CASTOR (App T See) shortly after the start. It was established that
shortly after the start, CASTOR shifted inwards abruptly for some distance
after beginning awkwardly and in so doing, bumped heavily with NORTHERN
BOSS, which became very unbalanced and lost ground. In the
