STIPE报告
RACE 1 (R925) Class 5 1100m COURTS GIFT HANDICAP

BINT WARD which was up 17kgs in body weight since its last run, was checked by the
Club Veterinary Surgeon prior to the race and was passed fit to start.

Heavy rain fell around 12.00 noon. Light rain fell prior to and during the running of this
race.

At the start, SILVERON WINGS (WK Yan) and AGUERO (S Thai Yang) were a little
slow to begin.

TAVAN BOGD (J De Souza) was leaning in the barrier at the start and as slow into
stride.

SASSO MAN (S Sandana) dipped shortly after the start and at about the 1000M, steadied
on the inside of THE TIGER (App M Hanif).

BINT WARD (App R Fakruddin) was caught three deep on the turn from about the 800M
and ran about under pressure in the home straight.

AGUERO was taken wide on the outside of TAVAN BOGD on the bend into the home
straight and thereafter ran about in the home straight. TAVAN BOGD finished the race
wide.

Jockey M Yusri, the rider of CABRERA, was warned of his obligation to ride all his
mounts out fully to the end of the race.

A post-race veterinary examination of BINT WARD revealed no obvious abnormality.
BINT WARD was impounded for further veterinary and analytical examination.

App M Hanif, the rider of THE TIGER, reported that his mount was not striding out
freely. A post-race veterinary examination revealed that THE TIGER returned lame near
fore and as such, will be required to pass a test (l000M/vet) before being declared to race
again.

Trainer D Murphy, when questioned regarding the apparent poor performance of BINT
WARD, advised the Stewards that he was also disappointed but he had only been training
this horse for one month and did not have any explanation. He had however noted that
the horse was up 17kgs in body weight after transportation and it would appear from the
previous form that this horse had not run on a soft or heavy track. His explanation
was noted.
