RACE 3 (R014) Class 5 1400M (Long Course B)

PLENTY IN HAND (App SU Lim) was slow to begin.

Shortly after the start, GOLD STAR PRINCESS (App S Zulfikri) and I TOLD YOU (App M
Hanif) bumped.

CAPPRICCI PRINCE (L Sofhan) had to be steadied racing to the 800M and shortly thereafter,
shifted out resulting in DELIGHTFULLY (App P Deneskumar) having to be steadied . Jockey
L Sofhan will be shown the vision of the race and will be warned to exercise more care when
shifting ground in future.

DELIGHTFULLY had to be steadied racing to the 650M, to avoid the heels of CAPRICCI
PRINCE when that gelding shifted out for a clear run.

GOLD STAR PRINCESS racing to the 200M, had to be eased off the heels of CELAENO (R
Burnett) which shifted inwards to obtain a clear run.

BLAZING DRAGON (E Lopes) which was beaten 24 ½ lengths in this race, will be required
to pass a 1000M/vet test before being declared to race again for having a poor performance.

KOBE TOP GUN Jockey R Woodworth was questioned as to that geldings performance
today. Jockey R Woodworth confirmed his instructions were to be midfield which were
confirmed by the Stewards from the Trainers Instruction Form. He stated that he travelled
well until straightening when placed under the whip, the gelding failed to respond to his riding
over the concluding stages of the race.
The Stewards further questioned Jockey R Woodworth as to whether he had ridden the gelding
out as required under the Rules. He stated that he had fully tested KOBE TOP GUN and in his
opinion, it finished its run. The Stewards noted his explanation, however, warned him that in
future he would be expected to ride his horse out to the end of the race to the satisfaction of
the Stewards.
