STIPE报告
RACE 9 [TF1448]
CLASS 4 1000M

GANBATTE GANBATTE (I Saifudin), which was fractious in the barrier, will be
required to pass one starting stall test prior to being declared to race again in
terms of MRA Rule 78(2).

LADY ROULETTE (A Munro) began awkwardly.

EXCITING PROSPECT (App CS Chin) jumped awkwardly inwards and bumped
FANTASTIC MAN (M Ewe) in onto the heels of LIMS SINCERE (KB Soo),
resulting in FANTASTIC MAN having to be eased.

GANBATTE GANBATTE, which was slow to begin, had to be steadied shortly
after the start to avoid the heels of PUBLIC FIGURE (S Sam), which was
carried outwards by FRAGRANCE EMPIRE (App WS Chan), which shifted
outwards after beginning awkwardly.

Shortly after the start, LIMS ELUSIVE (App R Firdhaus) had to be eased off
the heels of PUBLIC FIGURE after being taken inwards by OUR TOUCHE (App
CK Ng), which shifted inwards and away from LIMS SINCERE.

KISS ME (App R Rueven), LADY ROULETTE and GUILTLESS (M Kellady) all
raced wide throughout.

OUR TOUCHE was held up for clear running making the turn into the straight.

A subsequent veterinary examination was requested on KISS ME which
revealed no apparent abnormality.

GENERAL

INQUIRY REGARDING APP R SHAFIQS RIDING IN RACES IN WHICH
HIS MOTHER-IN-LAW WAS AN OWNER OF ANOTHER RUNNER

On 08 September 2015, Stewards were made aware that App R Shafiqs
mother-in-law was registered as an Owner on 09 April 2014.

An Application was received on 09 September from App Shafiq applying for
exemption under MRA Rule 46(4) with regard to immediate family, as
defined under the MRA Rules, owning horses.

App Shafiqs application for exemption was considered and approved by the
Singapore Turf Club Racing Sub-Committee on 15 September 2015.
However, this exemption was only granted effective from 15 September
2015.

Subsequently, App Shafiq, in the presence of his Master, Trainer M Walker,
was advised if he wished for an exemption to be granted retrospectively from
09 April 2014, he would be required to lodge an application specifically
requesting for this exemption.

In addition, he was advised that under the provisions of MRA Rule 46(5)
which states:

(5) In any event, where an exemption has been granted, no Jockey shall
ride for any other owner in a race in which any horse owned by that
Jockey and/or that Jockey's immediate family is entered.

even if he was granted a retrospective exemption, he would be required to
attend an Inquiry with regard to three races between 09 April 2014 to 15
September 2015 in which he rode in and did not ride his mother-in-laws
horse, which she part owned and also ran in the same race.

An Application was received on 22 September 2015 from App Shafiq applying
for a retrospective exemption from 09 April 2014 under MRA Rule 46(4) with
regard to immediate family owning horses.

This Application was considered and approved by the Singapore Turf Club
Racing Sub-Committee on 30 September 2015.

At the conclusion of an Inquiry on Wednesday, 02 December 2015, App R
Shafiq, in the presence of his Master, Trainer M Walker, pleaded guilty to the
following three charges under MRA Rule 46(5) in that:

(1) in Race 1 at the Singapore Turf Club Meeting on Sunday, 05 April
2015, he rode READY FORTUNE and did not ride STAR OF EDEN, which
was part owned by his mother-in-law who is defined under the MRA
Rules as immediate family;

(2) in Race 1 at the Singapore Turf Club Meeting on Friday, 01 May 2015,
he rode PHARMA BROWNE and did not ride STAR OF EDEN, which was
part owned by his mother-in-law who is defined under the MRA Rules
as immediate family; and

(3) in Race 2 at the Singapore Turf Club Meeting on Sunday, 16 August
2015, he rode NOVA LEGEND and did not ride SPUR ME ON, which was
part owned by his mother-in-law who is defined under the MRA Rules
as immediate family

After considering submissions from App Shafiq and his Master, Trainer
Walker in regard to penalty and in addition after taking into account his
guilty plea, the circumstance and nature of the charge, the Panel of Stewards
determined the appropriate penalties to be:

On the first charge, App Shafiq was disqualified for a period of one month.

On the second charge, App Shafiq was disqualified for a period of one
month.

On the third charge, App Shafiq was disqualified for a period of one month.

These three penalties will be served concurrently. However, these penalties
were to take effect following the completion of App Shafiqs current
suspension for careless riding which is until 13 December 2015 inclusive.

As such, App Shafiq was disqualified from Monday, 14 December 2015 to
Saturday, 13 January 2016 both dates inclusive (a period of one month). He
was advised of his Right of Appeal.

In addition the Panel of Stewards determined acting under the provisions of
MRA Rule 46 that:

(1) in Race 1 at the Singapore Turf Club Meeting on Sunday, 05 April
2015, STAR OF EDEN, be disqualified and the placings amended
accordingly;

(2) in Race 1 at the Singapore Turf Club Meeting on Friday, 01 May 2015,
STAR OF EDEN, be disqualified and the placings amended accordingly;
and

(3) in Race 2 at the Singapore Turf Club Meeting on Sunday, 16 August
2015, SPUR ME ON, be disqualified and the placings amended
accordingly

reasons for MR PATRON (App R Rueven) having to check when racing to the
inside of CITY OF SAILS (App A Feiruz) shortly after passing the 800m. It
was established that shortly after passing the 800m, MR PATRON was eased
to avoid the heels of CITY OF SAILS, which shifted inwards. In the

of MAGIC PAINT (I Saifudin), pushing that gelding out onto DEBT
COLLECTOR (M Rodd), which was bumped heavily and became unbalanced.
He then continued to allow his mount to shift outwards, resulting in MAGIC
PAINT having to be checked. When deciding on penalty, the Stewards took

SINGAPORE NOVEMBER MEETING 2015
SUNDAY, 29 NOVEMBER 2015:

RACE 11 [TF1439]

On Wednesday, 02 December 2015, the Stewards concluded an Inquiry into
the reasons for TIP OF BORNEO (J Powell) having to check when racing to
the inside of SKY ELEVEN (App WS Chan) and EAGLE STORM (A Da Silva)
near the 1400m. It was established that near the 1400m, TIP OF BORNEO
and SKY ELEVEN raced tightly for a number of strides. After passing the
1400m, TIP OF BORNEO was checked to avoid the heels of SKY ELEVEN,
which, when racing keenly, became awkwardly placed close to the heels of
EAGLE STORM before being taken inwards slightly by that gelding. Just prior
to the incident, App Chans saddle shifted to the off- side, resulting in him
becoming unbalanced, placing him at a disadvantage through this stage of
the race. In the circumstances, no blame could be attributed to any rider
and as such, no further action was taken. However, Jockey Da Silva and App
Chan were both warned and advised that they must exercise greater care
when shifting ground in future.
