FRIDAY, 15 MAY 2015:
RACE 3 [TF0609]
On Sunday, 21 June 2015, the Stewards concluded an Inquiry into the
reasons for SQUIRE OSBALDESTON (M Nunes) having to check when racing
between BRAD (M Rodd) and BRING MONEY HOME (R Woodworth)
approaching the 300m. It was established that approaching the 300m, BRAD
was inclined to lay inwards carrying SQUIRE OSBALDESTON inwards. Shortly
after, BRING MONEY HOME shifted outwards under pressure, resulting in
SQUIRE OSBALDESTON being disappointed for a run and had to be checked.
In the circumstances, no blame could be attributed to any rider and as such,
no further action was taken. However, Jockey Woodworth was warned and
advised that he must exercise greater care when shifting ground in future.
