DIVISION 1
BEST NINE (App J See) lost ground after beginning awkwardly. BEST NINE
then lost further ground shortly after the start when inconvenienced by LETS
SCREAM NOW (TH Koh), which shifted inwards.
ECLAIR SENSATION (App R Zawari) and ART OF WAR (E Aslam) were both
slow to begin.
Near the 1000m, ART OF WAR steadied when tightened to the inside of HES
A STRIKER (CW Brown), which shifted inwards.
BEST NINE proved difficult to settle in the early stages.
LIMS AFFECTION (O Chavez) had a tendency to lay inwards in the straight.
Jockey Aslam, the rider of ART OF WAR, reported that the horse had returned
with its saddle having shifted back during the race. This was subsequently
confirmed by the Veterinary Surgeon.
Subsequent veterinary examinations were requested on both KAISER (KB
Soo) and ART OF WAR which revealed no apparent abnormality.

After considering an application received on Monday, 25 May 2015 from
Jockey M Nunes to withdraw his Appeal, the Appeal Panel acceded to his
request to withdraw his Appeal against the decision of the Panel of Stewards
and the penalty imposed on him. His deposit was forfeited.
As such, his fine of S$25,000 is confirmed and his suspension from riding in
races will therefore be with effect from Monday, 25 May 2015 and will run
until Wednesday, 24 June 2015 both dates inclusive during which there is a
period of one month.

RACE 2 [TF0381]
On Tuesday, 26 May 2015, the Stewards concluded an Inquiry into the
reasons for DELUGE (App R Shafiq) and SECRET ARROW (B Vorster) losing
ground when crowded between HEAVENLY GIFT (KB Soo) and MCGREGOR (I
Saifudin) shortly after the start. It was established that shortly after the
start, DELUGE, which had been slow to begin, and SECRET ARROW both
checked when crowded for room between HEAVENLY GIFT, which shifted
outwards slightly and MCGREGOR, which shifted inwards abruptly, away from
FIVE HUNDRED BUCKS (M Rodd), which also shifted inwards. In the
circumstances, no blame could be attributed to any rider and as such, no
further action was taken.

SUNDAY, 22 MARCH 2015:
RACE 3 [TF0391]
On Friday, 29 May 2015, the Stewards concluded an Inquiry into the reasons
for LIZAZ (CW Brown) having to be checked when racing between SHANGHAI
BUND (C Newitt) on its inside and ELUSIVE EMPEROR (B Vorster) and CATCH
ME GREAT (M Rodd) on its outside near the 700m. It was established that
near the 700m, LIZAZ and SHANGHAI BUND brushed on a number of
occasions, resulting in LIZAZ becoming unbalanced. LIZAZ then lost ground
after being crowded slightly between SHANGHAI BUND and ELUSIVE
EMPEROR, which shifted inwards and away from CATCH ME GREAT. In the
circumstances, no blame could be attributed to any rider and as such, no
further action was taken.

RACE 5 [TF554] : GREAT BALLS OFFIRE
On Wednesday, 20 May 2015, the Stewards acceded to Trainer S Burridges
request to clear GREAT BALLS OFFIRE for racing subject to the submission of
a subsequent urine sample being free of any prohibited substance. The
SNTC Laboratory subsequently reported that a sample submitted to clear
GREAT BALLS OFFIRE for racing was analysed and clear of any prohibited
substances. As such, GREAT BALLS OFFIRE was cleared for racing.

At the conclusion of an Inquiry on Thursday, 28 May 2015, App R Rueven,
the rider of WHISPERINTHEWIND, in the presence of his Masters B Trainer,
Mr Shane Ellis, pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under MRA Rule
44(9)(a)(ii) in that whilst riding WHISPERINTHEWIND in Race 5 at the
Singapore Turf Club Meeting on Friday, 01 May 2015, near the 1200m, he
permitted his mount to shift inwards, when not sufficiently clear of
JUSEAGLEYE (S Sam), resulting in that gelding having to be checked. When
deciding on penalty, the Stewards took into account his record, guilty plea
and the degree of interference and carelessness. App Rueven was
suspended from riding in races with effect from Monday, 15 June 2015 to
Sunday, 21 June 2015 both dates inclusive (two Singapore Race Days) and
was advised of his Right of Appeal.
This penalty will be served consecutively following the completion of his
suspensions for careless riding from Monday, 25 May 2015 until Sunday, 31
May 2015 both dates inclusive (two Singapore Race Days) and from Monday,
01 June 2015 to Sunday, 14 June 2015 both dates inclusive (four Singapore
Race Days).
RACE 10 [TF0559]
At the conclusion of an Inquiry on Thursday, 28 May 2015, App R Rueven,
the rider of KATES KEEPER, in the presence of his Masters B Trainer, Mr
Shane Ellis, pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under MRA Rule
44(9)(a)(ii) in that whilst riding KATES KEEPER in Race 10 at the Singapore
Turf Club Meeting on Friday, 01 May 2015, near the 350m, he directed his
mount outwards, when not sufficiently clear of THESE STREETS (C Newitt),
which was crowded out onto CALIFORNIA EAGLE (M Esposito), which was
carried outwards into the running of CHASE (App R Shafiq) and POWERNOVA
(B Vorster). As a result, THESE STREETS, POWERNOVA and CHASE were all
checked and CALIFORNIA EAGLE was hampered. When deciding on penalty,
the Stewards took into account his record, guilty plea and the degree of
interference and carelessness. App Rueven was suspended from riding in
races with effect from Monday, 01 June 2015 to Sunday, 14 June 2015 both
dates inclusive (four Singapore Race Days) and was advised of his Right of
Appeal.
This penalty will be served consecutively following the completion of his
suspension for careless riding from Monday, 25 May 2015 until Sunday, 31
May 2015 both dates inclusive (two Singapore Race Days).

At the conclusion of an Inquiry on Thursday, 28 May 2015, App T Rehaizat,
the rider of HIGH TROJA, in the presence of his Masters B Trainer, Mr Young,
pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under MRA Rule 44(9)(a)(ii) in
that whilst riding HIGH TROJA in Race 3 at the Singapore Turf Club Meeting
on Sunday, 17 May 2015, near the 400m, he made insufficient effort to
prevent his mount from shifting outwards, when insufficiently clear of ORION
(App K AIsisuhairi), resulting in that runner having to be checked, and
SEASONS ECHO (App LQ Kek) being crowded onto DAVINCI (C Newitt).
When deciding on penalty, the Stewards took into account his record, guilty
plea, the degree of interference and carelessness and submissions from App
Rehaizat that he has been engaged to ride at the Singapore Race Meetings
on Friday, 29 May 2015, Sunday, 31 May 2015 and Friday, 05 June
2015. The Stewards determined to suspend his licence to ride in races and
acting under MRA Rule 48(5), the commencement of the suspension was
deferred to begin on Saturday, 06 June 2015 until Friday, 12 June 2015 both
dates inclusive (two Singapore Race Days). He was advised of his Right of
Appeal.

At the conclusion of an Inquiry on Thursday, 28 May 2015, Jockey E Aslam,
the rider of SUGARTIME JAZZ, pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding
under MRA Rule 44(9)(a)(ii) in that whilst riding SUGARTIME JAZZ in Race 8
at the Singapore Turf Club Meeting on Friday, 22 May 2015, near the 300m,
he did permit his mount to shift inwards under hard riding, when
insufficiently clear of YELLOW BIRD (A Munro), resulting in that runner being
crowded onto WINNING SUCCESS, which had to be checked. BIGCAT
RHAPSODY (YF Leong), which was racing to the inside of WINNING
SUCCESS, was also hampered in this incident. When deciding on penalty,
the Stewards took into account his record, guilty plea, the degree of
interference and carelessness and submissions from Jockey Aslam that he
has been engaged to ride at the Singapore Race Meetings on Friday, 29 May
2015, Sunday, 31 May 2015 and Friday, 05 June 2015. The Stewards
determined to suspend his licence to ride in races and acting under MRA Rule
48(5), the commencement of the suspension was deferred to begin on
Saturday, 06 June 2015 until Friday, 12 June 2015 both dates inclusive (two
