SPACE ODDITY (App R Rueven) jumped awkwardly inwards making contact
with FLYING WINNER (KB Soo).
SEASONS PALACE (B Vorster) jumped away awkwardly.
Shortly after the start, THINK PRETTY (E Aslam) got its head up on a couple
GUILTY PLEASURES (J Powell) proved difficult to settle in the middle stages
and approaching the 800m, had to be restrained off the heels of SPACE
ODDITY and in so doing, shifted outward carrying FLYING WINNER wider with
REGAL RED (M Rodd) and MUVUKA (N Juglall), which were both following,
having to be steadied.
GANNA (A Munro) hung outwards from the 800m and made the turn into the
straight extremely wider. GANNA will be required to pass a 1000m gallop

clear running. Jockey Powell was subsequently shown the film of the incident
and warned to exercise greater care when shifting ground in future.
Passing the 150m, FLYING WINNER, which shifted inwards and away from
MIRACLE MAN, bumped PERFECT CURIOSITY.
Subsequent veterinary examinations were requested on FLYING WINNER,
GANNA and SEASONS PALACE which revealed no apparent abnormality.
