STIPE报告
RACE 6 (R1685) Class 5 - 1400m LAJU LAJU HANDICAP

SPANISH GARDEN, a course scratching which was bruised near fore fetlock, will be
required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.

PALING THE BEST, which was down 18kgs in body weight since its last run, was
checked by the Club Veterinary Surgeon prior to the race and was passed fit to start.

Shortly after the start, JUST BLESSED (App CC Wong) threw its head up while over-
racing and shifted out, at the same time EXCELLENT GOAL (App KL Lee) rolled in.
The following horses - PALING THE BEST (K Eirwan), JAI HO (J Shankar), HALIMS
GIFT (HS Gill), BOSS CAT (HK Cheng) and POCKET ACE (App S Shafrizal) were all
crowded for room, causing HALIMS GIFT, JAI HO and BLACK AHEAD (App SU
Lim) to lose ground. JUST BLESSED continued to over-race and got its head up in the
middle stages.

Over the concluding stages, STAR QUALITY (App KC Wong) ran about under pressure.

Post-race veterinary examinations of EXCELLENT GOAL, POCKET ACE, TRY THE
CHANCE (M Leong) and BLACK AHEAD revealed no obvious abnormality.

Jockeys K Eirwan and J Shankar, the respective rider of PALING THE BEST and JAI
HO reported that their mount was not striding out freely. Post-race veterinary
examinations of both geldings revealed no obvious abnormality. PALING THE BEST
which raced poorly, will be required to pass a test (1000M/vet) before being declared to
race again.

When questioned as to the improved performance of JUST BLESSED from its last start
failure, Trainer Dr SH Tan stated that he was at a loss to explain the poor performance of
the gelding last week but added that it may be because of the soft lead JUST BLESSED
was able to have today and being unchallenged against being crowded for room for some
distance at its last start when the gelding failed to run on. Other than that, he could offer
no tangible explanation. The Stewards noted Trainer Dr SH Tans comments and drew
his attention to the rules in relation to in-and-out running. He was informed that he is
to endeavor to have JUST BLESSED and all his runners run consistently in future. A
post-race veterinary examination of JUST BLESSED revealed that the gelding returned
having cast its off hind plate.

RACE 1 (R1516) CLASS 5 1200M(lc) VITAMITE PERFORMA 3 STAKES
PERAK NOVEMBER MEETING 2014 SUNDAY, 16TH NOVEMBER 2014

The Stewards concluded an Inquiry today (Tuesday, 23rd December 2014) at the Perak
Turf Club into the win of CANDY CRUSH (TM Wan), as compared to its previous starts
tactics used. After viewing the video footage of CANDY CRUSHs wins and other races
where the gelding finished unplaced and taking submissions from Trainer Nor Azman
and Jockey TM Wan, the trainer and rider of CANDY CRUSH respectively, the Stewards
informed Trainer Nor Azman and Jockey TM Wan that they were not entirely satisfied
with their explanations. However, they were given the benefit of the doubt. The Stewards
warned Trainer Nor Azman and told him that he must give riding instructions that suit
CANDY CRUSHs established racing pattern and all other horses trained by him in
future. The Stewards also warned Jockey TM Wan that he has to display and ride
consistently to show the same urgency on CANDY CRUSH and any other horse he rides
in future to obtain the position as instructed wherever possible. Both Trainer Nor Azman
and Jockey TM Wan were told that failure to heed this warning may lead to sterner action
in future.
