STIPE报告
RACE 10 (R1303) CLASS 5 1200M(sc) NAM HEONG HANDICAP

HITCHHIKER, a non-acceptor which had sustained a sore back, will be required to pass
a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.

At the start, YOUSINGWEDANCE (K Eirwan) stumbled.

AFTER ME (App KC Wong) jumped awkwardly inward and bumped the starting gate
and lost some ground.

Shortly after the start, SMALL TIGER (F Yap) rolled out and bumped BULL AND
BEAR, unbalancing App SU Lim in the saddle.

At the 300M, GOOD GIFT (App KL Lee) shifted inward when struck with the whip.

ANAK CARABAO (App I Amirul), SMALL TIGER and YOUSINGWEDANCE which
raced poorly, will be required to pass a test (1000M/vet) before being declared to race
again.

Post-race veterinary examinations of AFTER ME, YOUSINGWEDANCE and SMALL
TIGER revealed no obvious abnormality.

A post-race veterinary examination of HANDSOME BACHELOR (Alex Chew) revealed
that the gelding had returned with respiratory distress and as such, will be required to
pass a test (1000M/vet) before being declared to race again.

When questioned regarding his ride on HENNESSY DRAGON, Jockey M Yusri said
that he was instructed to ride the horse midfield and improve from the 600M and do his
best to win. He said that HENNESSY DRAGON raced keenly in the early and middle
stages and was difficult to settle, after passing the 1000M crossing, he was bumped by
AFTER ME (App KC Wong) and his horse got further back in the field than he
anticipated. The Stewards noted Jockey M Yusris explanation, however the Stewards
were not impressed with his effort in the early stages of the race and warned him to ride
all his mounts in a manner to leave no room for query in future. A post-race veterinary
examination of HENNESSY DRAGON revealed no obvious abnormality.

When questioned regarding the disappointing run of AFTER ME, App KC Wong stated
that the horse jumped awkwardly at the start and heavily bumped the left side of the
barrier, resulting in him not mustering speed as quickly as he anticipated and traveled in a
midfield position. When placed under pressure in the straight, his mount only ran on
moderately. He said that in his opinion the horse was disappointing. Stewards noted his
explanation.
