urged his mount along to try and hold a handy position as instructed, but the tempo of
the race was too fast. As such, he settled further back than anticipated and thereafter,
TANHA STRIKE was racing tight amongst runners and in the straight, did not

better suited in shorter races and he was disappointed with its performance. His
explanation was noted.

Jockey Lou Ho explained that after jumping away awkwardly and racing to the

very difficult ride.

had been bumped by the runners at the start, and from that stage on, he attempted to
balance DRAGON DYNASTY and as a result raced wide from the 1000M until

DYNASTY to avoid LANDING NORTH which was running out. Jockey D Bonilla
further stated that he did not take the inside run from the 1000M because he felt that
DRAGON DYNASTY would run it best race to the outside of runners rather than
going in.
The Stewards advised Jockey D Bonilla that they accepted that the interference at the
start had impacted on the geldings performance but that he should have used better
judgement during other parts of the race.
