(2 & 3 YEARS OLD)
As there was no similar claiming rider available, the Stewards gave
permission for App Z Zuriman to replace App K AIsisuhairi on PARTIE ARTIE.
HEES A MAVERICK (D Flores) was crowded on jumping between
WHISPERINTHEWIND (M Kellady) and ROSEGOLD (C Newitt), which jumped
awkwardly inwards. HEES A MAVERICK then blundered after striking the
heels of WHISPERINTHEWIND.
Shortly after the start, NO SMOKING JEFF (A Munro) had to be eased
outwards away from the heels of ROSEGOLD.
Approximately 50m after the start, HAPPY JOY (App P Dellorto) was carried
outwards by PARTIE ARTIE and then had to be eased off the heels of
SOUTHERN ADMIRAL (B Vorster), which shifted inwards after being bumped

Near the 900m, NO SMOKING JEFF commenced to overrace and had to be
restrained off the heels of SUPER IDOL (YF Leong) on a number of occasions.
Passing the 900m, NO SMOKING JEFF, which was racing keenly, shifted

HAPPY JOY raced wide from the 800m.
A subsequent veterinary examination was requested on SOUTHERN ADMIRAL

A subsequent veterinary examination was requested on SPIRIT OF SPEED (L

SPIRIT OF SPEED will be required to pass a 1000m gallop trial and veterinary
examination prior to being declared to race again.
