Trainer P Shaw was fined a sum of S$50 in terms of MRA Rule 65(5)(c) for
failing to produce the correct colours on ANOTHER SON (App MM Firdaus).
Prior to the All Clear being given, App K AIsisuhairi, the rider of RISING
TIDE, requested to view the race video with a view to considering lodging an
objection. After viewing the video, App AIsisuhairi believed that there was
insufficient grounds to lodge the objection and the All Clear was declared.
SUPER FIVE (L Allpress) jumped awkwardly outwards and made contact with
DBENSON (I Santana).
Shortly after the start, KEEP SPINNING (I Saifudin) shifted inwards and
bumped ANOTHER SON, unbalancing that gelding. Shortly thereafter,
ELEVEN UP (App Z Zuriman) bumped the hindquarters of RISING TIDE,
which shifted outwards slightly.
Passing the 1500m, DBENSON eased to avoid the heels of RISING TIDE,
which was taken inwards slightly by FLAMBOYANT (N Juglall).
Approaching the 1300m, GOLDEN JADE (A Munro) checked to avoid the heels
of FLAMBOYANT. An Inquiry into this incident will be held at a date to be
DBENSON proved difficult to settle in the early stages.
KEEP SPINNING raced wide throughout.
After passing the 800m, SUPER FIVE hung outwards for some distance,
bumping DBENSON out onto KEEP SPINNING.
From the 600m until near the 500m, DBENSON was held up for a clear
Approaching the 400m, DBENSON laid inwards and brushed SUPER FIVE for
a number of strides.
After passing the 400m, ANOTHER SON which was improving, had to be
eased outwards after becoming awkwardly placed on the heels of ELEVEN UP,
which was giving ground.
After passing the 200m, SATELLITE PRINCE (O Chavez) shifted inwards and
brushed RISING TIDE.
Near the 100m, SATELLITE PRINCE and RISING TIDE made contact due to
both horses shifting ground. RISING TIDE and SATELLITE PRINCE then,
brushed on a number of occasions over the concluding stages, due mainly to
SATELLITE PRINCE having a tendency to lay inwards under pressure.
A subsequent veterinary examination was requested on FLAMBOYANT which
revealed no apparent abnormality.
