STIPE报告
RACE 7 (R196) Class 3 1400M (lc-A)

TIVOLLI (App R Rueven) jumped away awkwardly.

Racing from the 400M, ENGINE (J Shankar) shifted in under the whip. Jockey J Shankar
was subsequently shown the film of the incident and warned to exercise more care when
shifting ground in future.

Racing to the 200M, OCEAN FANTASY (N Callow) had to be eased to the outside of
ENGINE to obtain a clear run.

A post-race veterinary examination of NINE TEN (App M Hanif) revealed that the mare
returned exhibiting signs of respiratory distress and as such will be required to pass a test
(1000M/vet) before being entered to race again.

When questioned regarding the performance of FABULOUS KNIGHT, Jockey M
Gallagher explained that the gelding was coming back in distance and that after jumping
well, he attempted to ride forward which was confirmed from the Trainers Instruction
Form, however, FABULOUS KNIGHT was out paced and got further back than
expected. Jockey M Gallagher further stated that he rode FABULOUS KNIGHT
vigorously until entering the straight and racing to the 400M, he commenced to use the
whip and that initially FABULOUS KNIGHT responded fairly. He added that over the
concluding stages, the gelding ran on strongly under the whip and that he was of the
opinion that coming back in distance has not suited the gelding. His explanation was
noted for revision.

When questioned regarding the performance of TIVOLLI, App R Rueven, in the
presence of his Master, Trainer JB Brogan, explained that his instructions were to be mid
to back which were confirmed from the Trainers Instructions Form. App R Rueven
stated that the horse jumped away awkwardly, threw its head about and was beaten for
early speed in the race and only responded to his riding when under the whip from the
400M. The Stewards noted App R Ruevens explanation but warned him that in future he
would be expected to ensure that his horses have sufficient rein when jumping from the
barrier.
