HOOPER (App B Nazwan) was slow to begin.

CHEETAH ON FIRE (App Z Zuriman), which was restless in the barrier, was
slow into stride.

Passing the 1000m, WORK AHEAD (I Saifudin) had to be eased off the heels
of LUCKY COME (App WL Tan), which shifted inwards.

Approaching the 800m, SKY STORM (D Chee) lost ground when crowded and
buffeted by CHEETAH ON FIRE, which was taken inwards by LUCKY COME
when that gelding shifted inwards and away from HOOPER.

Near the 200m, WORK AHEAD had to be taken inwards to obtain clear
running.

Over the concluding stages, WORK AHEAD again had to be taken inwards
away from the heels of PURE TACTICS (O Chavez).

A subsequent veterinary examination was requested on WORK AHEAD which
revealed that the horse returned as a roarer.

SINGAPORE SEPTEMBER MEETING 2013
SUNDAY, 29 SEPTEMBER 2013:

RACE 2 [TF1277]

On Thursday, 03 October 2013, the Stewards concluded an Inquiry into the
reasons for ECLIPSE WARRIOR (A Munro) having to check when racing to the
inside of SUPER VOICE (M Nunes) and GATO NEGRO (O Chavez) passing the
100m. It was established that passing the 100m, SUPER VOICE shifted
inwards away from GATO NEGRO, which had shifted inwards and outwards in
the straight when racing greenly. This resulted in ECLIPSE WARRIOR having
to be eased off the heels of SUPER VOICE. In the circumstances, Stewards
were of the opinion that there was insufficient evidence to sustain a charge.
However, Jockey Nunes was warned and advised that he must exercise
greater care when shifting ground in future.
