RACE 2 (R1723) Class 5 1400M
MOTION PICTURE IV HANDICAP

TATTS, a course scratching as it was dehydrated, will be required to pass a veterinary
examination before being declared to race again.

GOOD WINNER and IN RETROSPECT, which were 39kgs and 18kgs down in body
weight respectively, and LUCKY FUND, which was up 17kgs in body weight since
their last run, were checked by the Club Veterinary Surgeon prior to the race and were
passed fit to start.

CERTAIN PRINCE (App R Jasmin) was slowly away.

GITHAN (J Shankar) and TERROR (R Woodworth) bumped on jumping.

Near the 900M, LUO (S Salee) steadied when momentarily crowded for room between
TERROR which rolled outwards, and GOLDEN BALL (I Azhar) which was taken
inwards slightly by BETTER AND BETTER (LL Tai). Jockey LL Tai was shown the
film of the incident and warned to exercise more care when shifting ground in future.

Near the 850M, LUO clipped the heels of TERROR and stumbled, resulting in Jockey S
Salee losing his near-side stirrup iron which he regained shortly afterwards. As a result,
LUO lost ground.

Near the 800M, TERROR was bumped by GITHAN which rolled outwards rounding the
first turn.

Near the 100M, DESERT SOUL (M Gallagher) laid inwards, obliging its rider to stop
and straighten.
After the race, Jockey J Shankar reported that his mount GITHAN was not striding out
freely. A post-race veterinary examination on GITHAN revealed no apparent
abnormality.

When questioned regarding the start, App H Bukhari, the rider of LITTLE
RAINFOREST, in the presence of his acting master, Trainer D Miller, stated that he was
instructed to get a good jump and ride a forward race, however prior to the start, his
mount sat back in the gates and as the start was effected, and was slowly away. He said
that due to LITTLE RAINFOREST missing the start, he was unable to go to the front as
instructed. App H Bukhari was told that he would be expected to make a greater effort to
jump on terms in future.

Post-race veterinary examinations of LITLE RAINFOREST (App H Bukhari) and LUO
(S Salee) revealed no obvious abnormality

The Club Veterinary Surgeon reported that LUCKY FUND (HK Cheng) bled and will be
barred from racing for a period of three (3) months under MRA Rule 92(3)(a)&(b).

The Veterinary Surgeon reported that TERROR returned, having cast its off hind plate.
