RACE 8 [TF1176]
KRANJI STAKES A SC (A) 1200M

DITTATORE (G Cheyne) was slow to begin.

EXCAVATOR (I Saifudin), which was slightly slow to begin, was crowded
shortly after between ECLAIR FASTPASS (App T Rehaizat) and JAMAL MALIK
(B Vorster).

Shortly after the start, BIRTHDAY GIFT (O Chavez) blundered on several
occasions.

Approaching the 1100m, ECLAIR FASTPASS checked whilst racing to the
inside of MR RAFFLES (App R Shafiq) and MY SON (App TH Koh). An Inquiry
into this incident will be held at a date to be fixed.

Passing the 1100m, JAMAL MALIK steadied away from the heels of MR
RAFFLES, which rolled inwards. EXCAVATOR, which was following, was
hampered in consequence.

DITTATORE proved difficult to settle in the early and middle stages.

Jockey Chavez, the rider of BIRTHDAY GIFT, reported that after making the
turn into the straight wide, he became concerned with the geldings action
and therefore did not unduly pressure it over the concluding stages.

App Rehaizat, the rider of ECLAIR FASTPASS, reported that his horse was
making respiratory noises. A subsequent veterinary examination revealed
that the horse returned as a roarer.

A subsequent veterinary examination was requested on LIZARRE (J Saimee)
which revealed that the horse returned having debris in its trachea.

Subsequent veterinary examinations were requested on both MR TIMELY (S
Baster) and BIRTHDAY GIFT which revealed no apparent abnormality.
