RACE 10 [TF918]
CLASS 4 LC (D) 1200M
DIVISION 1

As the start was effected, SEACREST (I Saifudin) refused to jump and took
no part in the event. In view of its previous record and as SEACREST is a
repeat offender, it will be barred from racing or entering for a test trial for a
period of fourteen days, after which it must pass two consecutive starting
stall tests and a subsequent veterinary examination.

COOL CAT (E Aslam) lost ground after jumping away awkwardly.

Shortly after the start, SPYDER (B Vorster) was crowded between SAHORO (J
Saimee) and ASCLEPIUS (S Baster), which shifted outwards.

Shortly after entering the homestraight, COOL CAT steadied inwards away
from the heels of HOOPER (D Beasley), which shifted inwards.

Near the 400m, HOOPER was momentarily inconvenienced when GOODPACK
(A Munro) shifted outwards to improve.

ASCLEPIUS, which hung outwards badly and raced extremely wide
throughout the race placing its rider at a disadvantage, will be required to
pass a 1000m gallop trial from the barrier and a veterinary examination prior
to being declared to race again.

Over the concluding stages, DAZZLING KIND (G Cheyne) eased when
crowded between SPYDER and COOL CAT, which shifted outwards. Jockey
Aslam will be shown the film of the incident and warned to exercise greater
care when shifting ground in future.

Subsequent veterinary examinations were requested on both ASCLEPIUS and
SUPER AHEAD (I Santana) which revealed no apparent abnormality.

FRIDAY, 29 JUNE 2012:

RACE 9 [TF880]

At the conclusion of an Inquiry on Friday, 29 June 2012, Jockey KB Soo, the
rider of PERWIRA, pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under MRA
Rule 44(9)(a)(ii) in that whilst riding PERWIRA in Race 9 at the Singapore
Turf Club Meeting on Friday, 29 June 2012, near the 1000m, he allowed his
