INITIATION-2 POLYTRACK 1200M


SS THE SPRINTER (I Saifudin), which was difficult to proceed to the start and
difficult to be loaded, will be required to pass one starting stall test prior to
being declared to race again in terms of MRA Rule 78(2).

CONTINENTAL FLYER (D Beasley) was restless in the barrier. Trainer C
Brown was advised that a warning has been placed on CONTINENTAL FLYER
regarding its barrier manners and to take steps to improve them or action
may be taken in future.

ISLE OF ARRAN (App TH Koh) was slow to begin.

COOL LUKE (O Placais) blundered on jumping.

XIN TREASURE (YF Leong) and BIG FELLA (M Kellady) bumped on jumping.

MOSHPIT MILLY (M Suhaimi), SUBDUE (M Zaki) and NO BOY (B Vorster) all
raced wide from the 800m.

CONTINENTAL FLYER, which raced greenly throughout, had a tendency to lay
inwards in the straight placing its rider at a disadvantage.

RACE 10 [TF1402]

On Monday, 21 November 2011, the Stewards concluded an Inquiry into the
reasons for RISE THE LIMIT (R Woodworth) having to check when racing
between MSIXTEEN (J Saimee) to its outside and MARYS SUCCESS (B
Vorster) and AFRIEND (App SH Low) to its inside approaching the 200m. It
was established that approaching the 200m, MARYS SUCCESS improved to
the outside of AFRIEND at the same time as AFRIEND shifted outwards into
clear running, resulting in RISE THE LIMIT being crowded onto MSIXTEEN
and being checked. In the circumstances, no blame could be attributed to
any rider and as such, no further action was taken. However, App Low was
warned and advised that he must exercise greater care when shifting ground
in future.

SUNDAY, 30 OCTOBER 2011:

RACE 11 [TF1470]

At the conclusion of an Inquiry on Monday, 21 November 2011, Jockey R
Woodworth, the rider of JAZZ IT UP, pleaded guilty to a charge of careless
riding under MRA Rule 44(9)(a)(ii) in that whilst riding JAZZ IT UP in Race 11
at the Singapore Turf Club Meeting on Sunday, 30 October 2011, near the
1000m, he did permit JAZZ IT UP to shift inwards, when insufficiently clear of
WARSPIRIT (App R Shafiq), which was carried inwards onto DADDY COOL (J
Moreira), which checked. When deciding on penalty, the Stewards took into
account his record, guilty plea, the degree of interference and carelessness
and submissions from Jockey Woodworth that he has been engaged to ride at
the Singapore Race Meetings on Friday, 25 November 2011 and Sunday, 27
November 2011. The Stewards determined to suspend his licence to ride in
races and acting under MRA Rule 48(5), the commencement of the
suspension was deferred to begin on Monday, 28 November 2011 until
Saturday, 03 December 2011 both dates inclusive (two Race Days). He was
advised of his Right of Appeal.


SINGAPORE NOVEMBER MEETING 2011
FRIDAY, 04 NOVEMBER 2011:

RACE 1 [TF1472]

At the conclusion of an Inquiry on Monday, 21 November 2011, App SH Low,
the rider of BLUEBERRY POWER, in the presence of his Masters B Trainer,
Mr Shane Baertschiger, pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under
MRA Rule 44(9)(a)(ii) in that whilst riding BLUEBERRY POWER in Race 1 at
the Singapore Turf Club Meeting on Friday, 04 November 2011, passing the
800m, he did permit his mount to shift inwards, when insufficiently clear of
SIMPSON (J Moreira), which checked. When deciding on penalty, the
Stewards took into account his record, guilty plea, the degree of interference
and carelessness. App Low was suspended from riding in races with effect
from Saturday, 07 January 2012 to Friday, 13 January 2012 both dates
inclusive (three Race Days) and was advised of his Right of Appeal.

This penalty will be served consecutively following the completion of his
current suspension from Monday, 07 November 2011 until Friday, 06 January
2012 both dates inclusive (a period of two months).


POST-RACE JOCKEYS URINE: SUNDAY
SINGAPORE 06 NOVEMBER MEETING 2011

2 coded urine samples from the above-mentioned race meeting were
received for analysis under the MRA Rules and Regulations.

All samples were analysed and none failed except for the sample with Sample
Coding No. J-2715 which revealed the presence of Lidocaine and upon
decoding, was found to have been taken from Jockey E Aslam.

The Inquiry into the pending matter will be held at a date to be fixed.

SUNDAY, 06 NOVEMBER 2011:

RACE 10 [TF1490]

On Monday, 21 November 2011, the Stewards concluded an Inquiry into the
reasons for HEARTS SAGA (S Anandan) having to check when racing
between STREET RUFFIAN (O Chavez) to its inside and MATTERHORN (J
Verenzuela) and LIRA (D Chee) to its outside near the 600m. It was
established that near the 600m, HEARTS SAGA checked when crowded
between STREET RUFFIAN and MATTERHORN, which shifted inwards away
from LIRA, which shifted inwards slightly. In the circumstances, no blame
could be attributed to any rider and as such, no further action was taken.

riding under MRA Rule 44(9)(a)(ii) in that whilst riding POPI POPI in Race 3
at the Singapore Turf Club Meeting on Sunday, 13 November 2011, near the
1200m, he did permit his mount to shift inwards, when insufficiently clear of
SELEGI (App R Shafiq), resulting in that horse being carried inwards onto
WARSPIRIT (O Placais), which in turn was carried inwards onto GOOD
SIBLING (S Anandan), which was carried inwards onto NINTH AVENUE (S
John), resulting in NINTH AVENUE having to be checked and SELIGI,
WARSPIRIT and GOOD SIBLING being hampered. When deciding on penalty,
the Stewards took into account his record, guilty plea, the degree of
interference and carelessness and submissions from Jockey Verenzuela that
he has been engaged to ride at the Singapore Race Meetings on Friday, 25
November 2011 and Sunday, 27 November 2011. The Stewards determined
to suspend his licence to ride in races and acting under MRA Rule 48(5), the
commencement of the suspension was deferred to begin on Monday, 28
November 2011 until Friday, 09 December 2011 both dates inclusive (three
Singapore Race Days). He was advised of his Right of Appeal.

At the conclusion of an Inquiry on Monday, 21 November 2011, Jockey J
Moreira, the rider of SUPER SPUR, pleaded guilty to a charge of careless
riding under MRA Rule 44(9)(a)(ii) in that whilst riding SUPER SPUR in Race 4
at the Singapore Turf Club Meeting on Sunday, 13 November 2011, near the
100m, he did make insufficient effort to prevent SUPER SPUR from shifting
inwards, when insufficiently clear of FALLING (J Powell), which was crowded
and checked. When deciding on penalty, the Stewards took into account his
record, guilty plea, the degree of interference and carelessness and
submissions from Jockey Moreira that he has been engaged to ride at the
Singapore Race Meetings on Friday, 25 November 2011 and Sunday, 27
November 2011. The Stewards determined to suspend his licence to ride in
races and acting under MRA Rule 48(5), the commencement of the
suspension was deferred to begin on Monday, 28 November 2011 until
Friday, 09 December 2011 both dates inclusive (three Singapore Race Days).
He was advised of his Right of Appeal.

Beasley, the rider of HARD STUFF, pleaded guilty to a charge of careless
riding under MRA Rule 44(9)(a)(ii) in that whilst riding HARD STUFF in Race
3 at the Singapore Turf Club Meeting on Friday, 18 November 2011, shortly
after passing the 100m, he did permit his mount to shift inwards, whilst
riding it along, when insufficiently clear of STRIDE METEOR (J Moreira),
which was crowded onto JAZZ IT UP (J Verenzuela) and checked. When
deciding on penalty, the Stewards took into account his record, guilty plea,
the degree of interference and carelessness and submissions from Jockey
Beasley that he has been engaged to ride at the Singapore Race Meeting on
Friday, 25 November 2011. The Stewards determined to suspend his licence
to ride in races and acting under MRA Rule 48(5), the commencement of the
suspension was deferred to begin on Saturday, 26 November 2011 until
Sunday, 04 December 2011 both dates inclusive (three Singapore Race
Days). He was advised of his Right of Appeal.


RACE 5 [TF1538]

At the conclusion of an Inquiry on Friday, 25 November 2011, Jockey J
Moreira, the rider of JUST A MAN, pleaded guilty to a charge of careless
riding under MRA Rule 44(9)(a)(ii) in that whilst riding JUST A MAN in Race 5
at the Singapore Turf Club Meeting on Friday, 18 November 2011, near the
1100m, he did permit his mount to shift inwards, when insufficiently clear of
APACHE CROWN (App R Shafiq), which was crowded and checked. When
deciding on penalty, the Stewards took into account his record, guilty plea,
the degree of interference and carelessness. Jockey Moreira was suspended
from riding in races with effect from Saturday, 10 December 2011 to Sunday,
18 December 2011 both dates inclusive (three Singapore Race Days) and
was advised of his Right of Appeal.

This penalty will be served consecutively following the completion of his
suspension from Monday, 28 November 2011 until Friday, 09 December 2011
both dates inclusive (three Singapore Race Days).

At the conclusion of an Inquiry on Wednesday, 23 November 2011, Jockey V

under MRA Rule 44(9)(a)(ii) in that whilst riding BOLD BID in Race 2 at the
Singapore Turf Club Meeting on Sunday, 20 November 2011, near the 50m,
he did permit his mount to shift outwards, when insufficiently clear of
THATSHOWEROLL (M Kellady), which was crowded onto WORK AHEAD (M
Zaki) and checked. When deciding on penalty, the Stewards took into
account his record, guilty plea, the degree of interference and carelessness
and submissions from Jockey Sivan that he has been engaged to ride at the
Singapore Race Meeting on Friday, 25 November 2011. The Stewards
determined to suspend his licence to ride in races and acting under MRA Rule
48(5), the commencement of the suspension was deferred to begin on
Saturday, 26 November 2011 until Saturday, 03 December 2011 both dates
inclusive (four Race Days). He was advised of his Right of Appeal.

At the conclusion of an Inquiry on Monday, 21 November 2011, App WL Tan,
the rider of COSMIC WARRIOR, in the presence of his Master, Trainer ZL
Mok, pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under MRA Rule
44(9)(a)(ii) in that whilst riding COSMIC WARRIOR in Race 8 at the
Singapore Turf Club Meeting on Sunday, 20 November 2011, approaching
the 1000m, he did permit his mount to shift inwards, when insufficiently
clear of VITALICO (App R Shafiq), which checked. When deciding on penalty,
the Stewards took into account his record, guilty plea, the degree of
interference and carelessness and submissions from App Tan that he has
been engaged to ride at the Singapore Race Meetings on Friday, 25
November 2011 and Sunday, 27 November 2011. The Stewards determined
to suspend his licence to ride in races and acting under MRA Rule 48(5), the
commencement of the suspension was deferred to begin on Monday, 28
November 2011 until Sunday, 04 December 2011 both dates inclusive (three
Race Days). He was advised of his Right of Appeal.


RACE 8 [TF1569]

At the conclusion of an Inquiry on Wednesday, 23 November 2011, App JL Li,
the rider of SKY WARRIOR, in the presence of his Master, Trainer D Koh,
pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under MRA Rule 44(9)(a)(ii) in
that whilst riding SKY WARRIOR in Race 8 at the Singapore Turf Club Meeting
on Sunday, 20 November 2011,near the 200m, he did permit his mount to
shift inwards, whilst riding it along, when insufficiently clear of ZAMBEZI
RUSH (Alan Ng), which checked. When deciding on penalty, the Stewards
took into account his record, guilty plea, the degree of interference and
carelessness and submissions from App Li that he has been engaged to ride
at the Singapore Race Meetings on Friday, 25 November 2011 and Sunday,
27 November 2011. The Stewards determined to suspend his licence to ride
in races and acting under MRA Rule 48(5), the commencement of the
suspension was deferred to begin on Monday, 28 November 2011 until
Sunday, 04 December 2011 both dates inclusive (three Race Days). He was
advised of his Right of Appeal.


SNTC BARRIER TEST / PRACTICE: TUESDAY, 22 NOVEMBER 2011

COUP ALIGN bled during a Practice Trial conducted on Tuesday, 22
November 2011. In terms of MRA Rule 92(3), it will not be permitted to
canter or gallop on the main training tracks of any racecourse for a period of
two months, and may not start in any race for a period of three months, and
then only after having satisfactorily passed a bleeders test.
