WHITE PILLOW was checked by the Club Veterinary Surgeon just prior to the start and
was passed fit to race.
KIM STAR which had difficulty in proceeding to the start, will be required to pass a test
(starting stall, to be ridden unaided to the start) before being entered to race again.
LANCER MAN jumped away awkwardly, shifted out and brushed NEW DAWN.
MAGIC BABY was slow to begin and shortly after the start, was taken in by KETSANA.
Near the 1100M, BEAUTIFUL NOISE had to be steadied to avoid the heels of NEW
DAWN (App Lou Ho) which shifted in when not sufficiently clear. App Lou Ho was
reprimanded and notified to exercise more care when shifting ground in future.
When making the turn near the 800M, KETSANA shifted in slightly and brushed the
running rail. MAGIC BABY which was following, became unbalanced at the same point.
LANCER MAN and BLACK OPAL which both raced poorly, will each be required to
pass a test (1000M/vet) before being entered to race again.
Jockey M Djulkifli, the rider of RENDEZVOUS, reported that his horse was not striding
out freely. A post-race veterinary examination of RENDEZVOUS revealed no obvious
