RACE 12 [TF562]
NOVICE SC (D) 1400M

Due to the adverse weather conditions, this race was put back five minutes
and rescheduled to start at 1835Hrs.

CLASSIC SUCCESS (O Placais) and SPIRIT NATURE (J Powell) bumped on
jumping.

Shortly after the start, RICH BORN (S John) and BUZET (App R Shafiq)
bumped.

Approaching the 1300m, BEE AHEAD (V Duric), BEFLEDGED (B Vorster) and
CLASSIC SUCCESS were all crowded between SPIRIT NATURE and RAFAGA (I
Saifudin), which laid outwards.

CLASSIC SUCCESS proved difficult to settle in the backstraight and got its
head up on a number of occasions.

TATTOO (J Saimee) raced wide without cover throughout.

Passing the 500m, BUZET steadied and shifted outwards abruptly after
improving onto the heels of SPIRIT NATURE. MALINGISA (J Moreira), which
was following, was inconvenienced in consequence.

RAFAGA laid outwards under pressure in the early part of the straight.

Over the concluding stages, BEE AHEAD and RAFAGA brushed.

BUZET raced greenly in the straight.

CLASSIC SUCCESS, which raced poorly, will be required to pass a 1000m
gallop trial and veterinary examination prior to being declared to race again.

Jockey Saimee, the rider of TATTOO, reported that his horse was making
respiratory noises. A subsequent veterinary examination revealed that the
horse returned as a roarer. TATTOO will be required to pass a 1000m gallop
trial and veterinary examination prior to being declared to race again.

Jockey S John, the rider of RICH BORN, reported that his horse was not
striding out freely. A subsequent veterinary examination revealed no
apparent abnormality. RICH BORN, which raced poorly, will be required to
pass a 1000m gallop trial and veterinary examination prior to being declared
to race again.

SINGAPORE MARCH MEETING 2011
SUNDAY, 20 MARCH 2011:

RACE 8 [TF419]

On Friday, 22 April 2011, the Stewards concluded an Inquiry into a report
from the Clerk of Scales that App S Noh, the rider of DIAMOND FIGHTER,
returned to scale 1.1kg over the weight that he weighed out for the above
race. There was no evidence to suggest that App Noh had or attempted to
deceive the Clerk of Scales when weighing. However, App Noh had admitted
consuming fluids after he weighed out for the race and he believed that this
may have contributed to him returning overweight. App Noh pleaded guilty
to a charge under MRA Rule 121(7) in that after riding DIAMOND FIGHTER in
the eighth race at the Singapore Turf Club Meeting on Sunday,
20 March 2011, he returned to scale 1.1kg in excess of the weight that he
weighed out for the race. When considering penalty, the Stewards took into
account the nature of the charge, his record and guilty plea. App Noh was
suspended from riding in races with effect from Monday, 25 April 2011 to
Friday, 06 May 2011 both dates inclusive (three Race Days) and advised of
his Right of Appeal.

took into account his record, guilty plea, the nature of the charge and
submissions from App Low that he has been engaged to ride at the
